Hot Fruits 40 Extra Chillis Review
Hot Fruits 40 Extra Chillis adds a hold-and-respin feature to Amatic's Hot Fruits line. Chillis with multipliers land on the reels, and with Extra Bet on, eight of them lock into a Chilli Spin round.
Fruit on a taller grid
The game has five reels and four rows, with 20 or 40 lines. A red 7 is the wild and substitutes for everything except the scatter.
It was released on 14 November 2024, a month after the 20-line Hot Fruits 20 Extra Chillis.
Hot Fruits 40 Extra Chillis Features
Chillis and their multipliers
Yellow chillis carry 1× to 4×, orange 5× to 9× and red 10× to 100×. Green chillis, worth 2× to 10×, appear only during Chilli Spin.
Extra Bet and Chilli Spin
Extra Bet raises the stake without changing the paytable, and only with it active can eight chillis anywhere start Chilli Spin. The round gives three spins that reset whenever a new chilli lands. It ends when the spins run out or the grid is full, and the chilli values are paid together.
If 20 yellow, orange or red chillis are collected, filling the grid, the prize is doubled.
RTP and limits
A catalogue lists 96.18% RTP (96.17% in its text) and medium volatility. No maximum win is stated as a multiple of the bet, so we show it as unconfirmed.

Our Verdict
The 40-line Hot Fruits is the version to pick if you like a busier screen and the Chilli Spin respins. Decide on Extra Bet first, because without it the main feature is off.
