One Review
One is a WMG slot built from tarot imagery: the Tower, the Devil, the Moon, the Lovers and other cards fill its five reels. Its bonus asks for something unusual, one of five different bonus symbols on every reel at the same time.
Tarot cards and adjustable lines
You can play 5, 10, 15 or 20 lines and set the stake per line from 0.01 to 20. The top card pays 50×, 100× and 500× the line bet for three, four and five on a line, and the lowest cards pay 5×, 20× and 50×.
Lines are evaluated from left to right, and only the highest win on each line is paid.
One Features
The heart wild
A heart is the wild. It substitutes for every symbol except the bonus symbols and also pays on its own, matching the top card at 50×, 100× and 500× the line bet.
Five different bonus symbols
The game has five different bonus symbols. The bonus game starts only when each reel shows one of them and all five are different, which makes the trigger visible as it builds from left to right.
In the bonus, a button sits in the centre of the screen with symbols on six positions around it. Each press sends a light around the ring that stops on a symbol, which awards a prize or nothing, and the number of remaining choices goes down.
RTP from the game's own rules
The embedded game's configuration gives an RTP of 90.3%, with a configurable range up to 93.3%, while its written rules quote 90.6% to 93.22%. Either way, that is lower than most modern video slots in this catalogue.
No volatility rating or maximum win is published. WMG's other games here follow the same pattern; see the WMG provider page.
One Pros and Cons
Strengths
- Choice of 5 to 20 lines
- Wild pays as much as the top symbol
- Distinctive tarot theme
Limitations
- RTP around 90–93%
- Bonus needs five different symbols at once
- No published maximum win
Our Verdict
One is a straightforward line game with an unusual bonus trigger and a striking theme. The low RTP in its own rules is the main reason to treat it as something to try in demo rather than a first choice.
