How it plays
Rich Wilde and the Tome of Madness is a Play'n GO grid slot from 27 June 2019, part of the Rich Wilde series and built around Lovecraft's Cthulhu myths. It plays on a 5×5 cascading grid, and clusters of 4 or more matching symbols pay.
Winning clusters charge a portal. At 7 symbols, two random special wilds appear; at 14 the Abyss effect is added, which removes the symbols in the special wild's row or column; at 27 the Void effect removes every high- or low-paying symbol of one random type. The Tome of Madness wild replaces all high- and low-paying symbols, and the Rich Wilde wild replaces high-paying symbols and doubles the win.
The Other World
Charging the grid with 42 winning symbols opens the Other World portal for a free round, with the portal effects running after each set of cascades. 11 or 12 eye marks appear on the grid, and winning clusters on top of them open the eyes. Open them all and Cthulhu is released as a mega wild that moves down the grid with every cascade.
