How it plays
World Eaters 2 is the sequel to ELK's World Eaters: decades later the world has been rebuilt, and the monsters are back and hungry. ELK lists the release for November 24; the demo here can already be played. It starts as a 5×5 grid.
Six collectors pick up their matching payout symbols and any feature symbol with a clear path to the top row. There are 10 worlds, each with its own feature: triggering a world's feature 3 times opens the next one, and every unlocked feature can then trigger on any drop. The Piggy Bank collector can start a Coin Game with 3 drops that reset whenever coins or feature symbols land, and the UFO can fly over the grid to upgrade or stack payout symbols.
Bonus games
3 Bonus symbols start the bonus on an 8×8 grid with all features unlocked. Once all features are unlocked and at least one collected Bonus symbol is a Super, the Super Bonus runs on an 8×8 grid with 3 active collectors. The top win is 10,000× the bet. X-iter lets you buy into five game modes, from a 2.5× bet upwards, where the casino allows it.
