Evil Cards Review
Evil Cards is WMG's first noir slot, with tarot cards inspired by a 19th-century occultist. The Death card is wild, and five Fools, one on each reel, open the Occultist Bonus.
The tarot paytable
The Death wild substitutes for every symbol except the Fool and pays 50×, 100× and 500× the line bet, the same as the top card. Lines pay from left to right.
Evil Cards Features
The Occultist Bonus
When a Fool lands on each of the five reels at the end of the final spin, the bonus shows five cards. Touch them to reveal prizes, multipliers or blanks; multipliers increase everything won in the bonus.
The Art, Hermit, Sun and Priest cards pay prizes; Justice, Queen, King and Luxury give multipliers; Angel, Cart, Star and Death pay nothing. The Fenix card awards a separate Fenix Bonus.
RTP
The configuration is set to 90.3%, with a range up to 93.3%; the rules text quotes 90.6% to 93.3%. WMG's other tarot slot, One, uses a similar card set with a different bonus.
Evil Cards Pros and Cons
Strengths
- Stylish noir theme
- Bonus with multipliers
- Wild pays like the top symbol
Limitations
- Bonus needs a Fool on every reel
- RTP from 90.3%
Our Verdict
Evil Cards is WMG's most atmospheric game. The Occultist Bonus is short but tense; the RTP keeps it a novelty.
