How it plays
Mental 2, released on 25 March 2025, is Nolimit City's sequel to Mental and keeps its asylum horror theme. The grid has an unusual 3-2-3-2-3 shape.
In the main game, 1 to 13 positions can turn into Fire Frames, which split any symbol landing in them into 2. Whole reels can become Fire Reels, which split symbols into 3. The more Fire Frames there are, the more Enhancer Cells under reels 2, 3 and 4 open up (4, 6 or 8 frames), and each reveals a wild, a Patient symbol, xWays, xSplit or an xNudge wild.
Two Dead Patient symbols reveal a Patient symbol with a multiplier from 5× to 9,999×. The xHole symbol, when it lands in a fire position, pulls symbols off the reels and scatters them back with their size multiplied by 2, 4 or 8. xMental gives an extra spin with Fire Frames on every position.
